For EV charger quotes, this also includes photos you upload of your electrical panel, meter, and proposed charger location, along with details about your vehicle and home.

• Apply for a job — your name, contact details, work history, certifications, references, and the other information requested on our employment application. Applications are sent to us by email from your own email client.
• Become a customer — billing and payment details, project records, signed estimates and change orders, and warranty claims.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, standard technical information is collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the site that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 5.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

Our website does not require you to create an account or password. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Payment card details are handled by our invoicing and payment providers and are not stored on our website.

• Prepare estimates, schedule and perform electrical work, and communicate with you about your project

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers that help us operate — including our website host and form processor (Netlify), our scheduling and customer management platform (Jobber), our invoicing and payment providers, and email and cloud storage services. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Project partners such as subcontractors, suppliers, utility companies, and permitting authorities (the AHJ) when required to complete your work or obtain permits and inspections.
• Financing providers, if you choose to finance a project through a third party.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, to enforce our Terms of Service, to collect amounts owed, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Voltech, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers — if Voltech is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer records may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies & Advertising

Our website uses Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Tag), which sets cookies to measure whether visitors who click on our ads go on to call us or submit a request. Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. We also load web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting the font files from Google's servers.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google's personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using our website.

If you provide your mobile number, we may text you about your estimate, appointment, or project — for example, to confirm a scheduled visit or let you know a technician is on the way. Message frequency varies by project. Message and data rates may apply.

We will not send you marketing text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them, and your mobile number and consent to receive texts will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

7. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including secure hosting, access controls, and reputable third-party platforms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep customer and project records for as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties, comply with legal and tax requirements, and resolve disputes. Quote requests that do not become projects, and employment applications, are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted or anonymized. Photos submitted with EV charger quote requests are retained with your project file.

• Request that we delete it, subject to records we are required to keep by law or need to maintain for warranty, lien, or dispute purposes
